About you:

To be successful in applying for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

•          Qualified as an electrical technician (a trade qualified electrician or other electrical qualification,
apprenticeship / general electrical experience)

•          Previous experience working on wind turbines is an advantage but not a necessity

•          Full clean driving license.

•          Physically fit and comfortable with heights

•          IT Skills

•          Excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills

•          Adhere to strict Health and Safety procedures and protocol

Your Tasks:

Specific training will be provided where required to perform specialist tasks:

•          Oversee and co-ordinate full electrical installation of wind turbines

•          Cable all electrical connections [HV & LV panels and tower cables]

•          Connect switch gear, converters and transformers

•          Inspect and test all electrical work

•          Identify any faults, defects and repairs

•          Ensure quality control, good housekeeping and communication

•          Ensure Health and Safety procedures are maintained and adhered to

•          Manage job requirements and progress on site

•          Complete daily progress reports and on-site documentation

•          Assist with site operations and liaise and co-ordinate with other sub-contractors on site

•          Walk-down and snag list to final commissioning
